Wine&Soul Tawny Port 10yo

In 2001 Sandra Tavares da Silva (Quinta do Vale D. Maria and Quinta de Chocapalha) and her husband Jorge Borges (then Niepoort, now Passadouro) started to realize their dream by buying a vineyard of very old vines of 2 ha. in Vale de Mendiz next to Noval.

The grapes are still traditionally entered lagares and fermented. They are beautiful elegant wines with a beautiful storage potential. From the first harvest they have become one of the icons of the Douro!
