For this barrel we collaborated with the rum brand Cane Island. As we love Jamaican style rums, we chose their Cane Island – Jamaica to put on a Rummieclub barrel for extra aging. With 41,2% abv it’s a relatively easygoing, but interesting rum.

This Rummieclub rum combines several special rum making processes. It uses dunder, which is left over wash after distillation. It also uses wild yeast, this results in a higher ester flavour profile. Together they balance the nose, palate and after taste.

We use our own rum as a base for this liqueur. Finely sliced fresh orange peel is distilled multiple times to extract only the best flavour. Uses for this liqueur are endless, make a Mai Tai or Margherita or add some to your hot chocolate.
