The Gonfier family runs Château de Marsan, where wine has been made since the 17th century. The domain is located 25 km southeast of Bordeaux in the 1er Côtes de Bordeaux. The 15 hectares of vineyards are sustainably farmed and are 'Haute Valeur Environnementale' certified.
The classic blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon and - depending on the vintage - Cabernet Franc undergoes a traditional vinification with a long maceration and is then aged for 12 months, half in oak barrels, half in stainless steel tanks.
